((First off, let me say SURPRISE! I’ll bet most of you forgot you were following me, or that I even existed.
If you did, that’s cool. Totes my fault for not posting and all that. I could give you a spiel about being busy and whatnot, but that’d be a load of crap. What really happened is that I got tired of doing this. I got tired of not being able to draw well, I got tired of not having anything interesting to answer, and I got tired of feeling like no one was paying attention. The fact that my computer and tablet weren’t playing nice didn’t help much either. So I took a step back and stopped thinking about the blog for a while.
Then, tonight, I tried drawing again. My computer and tablet have settled their differences, and my drawing doesn’t look quite so crappy to me anymore. Even better, I think I found a way to draw ponies that works better for me. So what does this mean?
I dunno. I’m honestly thinking about nuking this blog and starting over. I had some sort of universe I’d wanted to explore with my characters, but never got the asks I needed. Rebooting would let me play around with that. Or do something else entirely. Like I said, I dunno. All I know right now is that I’m not having as much fun with this blog as I did when I started.
I wish I could promise a steady stream of updates for whatever I decide. That just can’t happen, though. My schedule is really screwy and about to get worse. My art ability is still fairly low, and likes to wander off at inopportune moments. I promise I’ll update when I have something more concrete, and we’ll see what happens after that.
If anyone’s still reading after all that, I just want to thank you all for following me. As of this moment, I have 30 followers and I somehow didn’t lose a single one during my hiatus. You guys (and gals) are awesome. Now stop reading this and go do something fun.))
